It has been announced on Screamscape and confirmed on Six Flag's own site that SFoT's long lived Boomerang and Parachute Tower will be removed on September 3rd for future expansion.

Also on the rumor list is a XL-sized Sky Screamer set to replace them. Reaching heights of about 400 feet, it plays into the statement that "everything is bigger in Texas." The 2013 additions for all parks are set to be announced on August 30th, so stay tuned...
 
RE: Flashback and Texas Chute-Out removal (SkyScreamer 2013?)

Six Flags over Texas can be a possible new home for Great Adventure's Bizarro. The plot of land that Flashback and Chute-Out take up is a hell of a lot larger than what is needed for the rumored Super-Sky Screamer. I don't know if this is 100% true or not but apparently SFoT has bought a plot of land right next to all the action.

Now if you ask me that plot of land is well big enough to fit both Sky Screamer and Medusa/Bizarro.
 
Well the Bizarro rumor fizzled out but there's still a 400 foot SkyScreamer to enjoy. Now if only they'd put some originality into the name since there's already like 4 rides in that park with Texas in their name.

They're also updating their Balck Hole ride to be similar to it's cousin in Wet n' Wild Orlando, which had its special effects added in 2008.

I'm sure they will see Bizarro the following season then.
 
Texas Chute-Out slated to be imploded soon, hopefully someone will post a video for me to steal.. Ahem... Borrow!
