In an overlooked announcement last week, Aquatica San Antonio announced they will be adding an all new 55 foot tall mat racing slide complex that incorporates 180-degree enclosed spiral tubes and the more traditional straight away slopes in a six lane mat racer to be named Taumata Racer. Each lane will be about 375 feet long and the ride will last about 10 seconds. This would be the first new slide addition to Aquatica San Antonio since the park opened in 2012.
