The local news is reporting that Darien Lake will be removing the parks Arrow Log Flume and replacing it with a Gerstlauer Eurofighter for 2018. The layout in the graphic appears to be idential to Iron Shark at Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, but it doesn't appear that this artwork final and may have just been a generic graphic that was pulled from Gerstlauer.

Is this Arrow flume number three that the US is losing in 2018?! It seems like the log flume apocalypse is finally upon us.

Yeah it is. So very odd. It makes it even more interesting that BGW chose to keep Le Scoot.

So apparently some sources are saying that tantrum is going to be removed this offseason. Interesting considering how new it is

I'm wondering if those are the same sources that mentioned this to ma last night. I have no idea why SixFlags would remove such a small coaster that was added so recently to this park. It really doesn't make any sense to me at all. I have my doubts...

This is common practice for Darien Lake near the end of their season. Presumably it's for staffing once all the student workers have to go back to school.
