I got on the reverse side a few weeks ago, only time I've ever been on it and I never got on it going forward. I hope it reopens but I'm happy I got on at all.
Not as big of a deal as Reddit OP makes it out to be and EFK has been down for like 2 weeks regardless.
This ride breaks down for a couple of weeks at a time constantly, it is going to take a multimillion dollar investment if the ride is ever going to run reliably. It is the cost of being an early adopter. Unfortunately, there is so many other things in the park that require capital improvement funds.
It should’ve been upgraded to modern (for the time) LSMs when it was SBNO from 2010-2011.
From what I know, it’s only operated a handful of days since that Reddit post. Dude was definitely overreacting, but I have to wonder if there was a massive failure to some extent and if the few days of operation were a test run to see if it still has enough draw to be worth fixing.

seems like. someone got an angry phone call from SF corporate.
I’m only surprised this wasn’t announced sooner. EFK seemed like a top 3 most obvious coaster to go in the chain to me.

Great ride for its time but one of the more forgettable rides at Magic Mountain IMO.
That whole area on top of the hill needs to be redone and has a ton of potential to look really great. Whatever they put there is bound to have better uptime and throughput than Superman. I’d bet it be more popular too.

This has to be the absolute worst NoLimits build I’ve seen from a park. Also doesn’t help that they used NL1 four years after NL2 released lol
