The pineapple whip ( formerly Dole whip) is a bitter disappointment. It should be rebranded as pineapple soup. It is not frozen and creamy. It is watery, yet interspersed with semi-frozen lumps. The staff recommends againt getting it in cone, they suggest a bowl due to the soupy nature.

That's an awful disappointment. I remember when it was still at roman frieze it was actually pretty solid, and I never had trouble with it in a cone. In fact, I think it fared better in a cone compared to the regular soft serve. Although to me, the flavor was still not as good as the dole whip you get at Disney, but it was still tasty!

Guess ill jsut have to go with regular soft serve if I ever (now rarely) crave ice cream in the park.

For what it is worth, when I got the pineapple whip on Squire's Sweets' opening day, the consistency and flavor were normal. The "whip" was smooth and frozen and had no problem holding up the strawberries that are part of the dessert.

As with all food offerings at BGW, I wouldn't generalize too much from a single experience -- good or bad. The park always seem to be wildly inconsistent in taste, texture, appearance, portion size, and service quality.
