Slow Day on the Forums

Not much posting today..

Either everyone is busy riding FF; or they're coming down from the excitement of the new ride and now have nothing to talk about.

I thought there might have at least been some MMXX area changes over the past week

There’s also a good chance there just weren’t many forum members at the park today. Forum activity can come in waves sometimes, and also a lot of frequent visitors (aka our site members) tend to avoid Saturdays because of the crowds. That’s my rationalization.

Yea,I'll agree you'll never see me there on a weekend unless I have family that's only here on the weekend. My most common days are Fridays (off work), Monday evenings (off work at 5, there by 6) and Thursday evenings (off work at 6-7).

Only some electrical work being done alongside the train, silt fence is up and a access road was being finished up at the end of the week. Nothing much worth posting about.
As far a FF its runing great and nothing has really changed since the ribbon cutting to report.

Is there not a thread dedicated to daily crowd updates?

I am confused as to whether this thread was created to say that the park wasn't busy or that the forum wasn't busy. Or just why it was created in general.

We thought about going late this afternoon but ive heard low numbers for today so doubt I will go, my luck they would close early about the time I get there.

I can’t tell who is serious and who is trolling in this discussion.

Regardless, is are threads for current and predicted crowd levels. Please use them, so people can find your comments.

Yeah @Nicole my intent here was not to discuss something that already has a home.. I was just speculating why there were a bunch fewer posts this weekend than a "normal" weekend.

No clue where I was thinking the discussion would go after that.. just trying to spark more discussion.

I would say it'd probably be healthier discussion to attempt to spark conversation in a thread that exists when trying to talk just for the sake of talking, rather than create a thread that quite frankly houses a pointless discussion, which coincidentally is a thread we already have.

It is also worth noting that it is smarter to use descriptive and clear thread titles that can't be interpreted incorrectly by many. Using the word "park" leads people to believe you mean the park sub-fora in which the thread was created, so people reasonably assumed you meant BGW isn't crowded. At that rate, even if you want to create a thread discussing why the forum as a whole isn't very active, that probably belongs in the ParkFans section, not the BGW section, to help alleviate further confusion.

There's a lot of questions I have with this. But I am gonna stop now before this gets even more excessive. Apologies for ranting, I had to get it out.

If you had a negative opinion of this thread that's fine. You're entitled to your own opinions. I do not see why ranting and raving about it is necessary or what it adds to the thread. If the admins found this thread to be inappropriate they would have suggested a better place for it.

If you don't like the thread then ignore it.

I hate to reply since I didn't want to discuss any further, but last post.

I really am sorry if that came across as me hating on the thread. If anything, I was hoping it'd be good tips to go by for the future, using this thread as an example of how things could've been done differently. That was the intent, and not to just shit on this thread. So I am sorry if it came across that way @Jahrules , that was not meant to be anything negative directed towards you, more me venting my confusions about this thread. I don't want you interpreting the post as me not liking this thread as that wasn't the point, but to takeaway something helpful instead.
