If those have similar restraints to skydiving this may actually feel less scary than the chair in the sky experience.
 
The SkyScreamer at SFA is absolutely terrifying and that's not even one of the really tall ones. No way would I do this. Also, wouldn't that type of restraint bring loading to an absolute crawl? I have mixed feeling about the ride. It is pretty cool and pulls more g's than I was expecting, but it was really terrifying. I'll probably ride it again... some day.

If it’s like riding a SkyCoaster then no. Riders are fitted with the harness before boarding. After that all they have to do is attach it to the ride.
