I saw a Reddit thread about a Survey for a new Kids Area Pitch for SFOG.

I am convinced that Carousel Hill, Bugs Bunny Boom Town, and DC Super Friends are targeted to become Camp Snoopy or something very much like it. It would blend in well with the Georgia Gold Rusher and the Mine Train.

If they do decide on Camp Snoopy, I can imagine the billboards and commercials for "Georgia Peanuts".

I’m more interested in indoor/outdoor darkride coaster. I’ve seen that on a few Six Flags surveys. I think they may be getting ready to ramp up theming more than any of us realize. Or that’s wishful thinking idk

That's my post lol

I made sure to show my support for all the improvements and upgrades to the park. SFOG at its core is a great park with a lot of potential. Hopefully with CF at the helm of the company, we'll see the park reach that.

Retheming Surfer to Goldrusher seems like a step in the right direction. I love that they're putting more focus on story, adding theming and refined the logo so it looks way more professional.

SFOG also had a dive coaster as an option in their survey showing an image of Valravn although it's not shown on the Reddit post. But it's not just SFOG, SFMM and SFOT also had the same options when their surverys were released. I'm guessing that a dive coaster might be the next thing being added after Goldrusher and also the park as a whole being CF's interest to them up to their top priority list due to them being a huge money maker other than SFFT and the upgrades being. The surveys as a whole were released back in early August for the legacy SF parks, but is now intresting to see it being brought a few months later.

On the earnings call, it was announced that Gold Rusher will be the first of several new attractions as the company looks to tap into the growing Atlanta market.
Sounds like huge win for SFOG as a whole. Legacy SF hardly did anything to the park investment wise after DDD cuz that was the last major ground up coaster received prior to Goldrusher, even though TwiCy also counts as a major investment. Other than the merger being a "mistake" just because of unannounced ride closures like Kingda Ka, La Vibora, and Green Lantern, it's definely improving many of the legacy SF parks' biggest flaws. Can't wait to see how CF sees SFOG's future with in the next 5 years.

I'm thinking that there should be a new thread discussing about SFOG's rumored dive coaster being in the works, with the white circled area showing "park promade" on the second folder as a possible hidden teaser, once we wrap up on our discussion about Georgia Goldrusher soon. Now that this rumor haves its own thread, keep in mind that the park won't add in anything major in 2026 as stated in the press release back in November. This is more likely as this being in the works for 2027, basically meaning as this rumored dive coaster would be SFOG's big 60th anniversary coaster.

Sounds great, 2027 may seem far away from now as we have plenty of time to discuss what could its layout, height, color scheme, and theme would be by the August 2026 rolls around to see all of the 2027 announcemets. Many coaster projects typically take around 2 years to plan and design.

So SFOG gets new front gate with signature coaster fly over? Their front gate needs an update from 30 years of neglect.
I believe so. CF hates the park's current entrance due to it being close to the road therefore being a safety hazzard. S, they plan on replacing it completely with the signature rummored dive coaster to intergrade it with Goliath if that is the plan and move the park entrence to where the Go Karts is in which it has already been removed.

I have to wonder if Scorcher is safe? Although it and Riddler (and any other B&M standups) just got a slew of spare parts from Green Lantern I’d imagine.

Does anyone think SFOG will bring back the second entrance they had back by Pandemonium and the go karts in the 80's? Imagine a B&M Dive flying over that section of the park by the back parking lot!
Yes I do believe that the second entrence is being brought back. The rumor is that a dive coaster is in the works to replace the entire front enterance plaza the park currently has, and the Go Karts is getting the axe in favor for that new entrence where Pandemonium is.

Granted I've only been twice- but I like SFOG's entrance. I get the concern for the proximity to the road, but all of it (the roads, paths, ride placements, etc) makes sense in context of itself. I don't love the idea of moving all of that to the clear opposite side of the park.

Plus, that entire side of the park is kind of in a gigantic flood zone... I'm sure it could be done, but building an entire new entrance there knowing it WILL eventually flood, seems odd. But a construction/planning expert I am not.
