It was a Snyder-era policy that largely got ignored after he got kicked out.

The incident at Six Flags Mexico yesterday is literally the first time I've ever heard it being enforced company wide.

I, personally, can't be bothered with what other people are doing in a theme park as long as they are keeping to themselves, or their partner(s).
As long as they aren't being audibly obnoxious or disrespectful (i.e. littering), I don't really care about "visual pollution".

The story here is that a gay couple kissed and then were tossed out, citing this policy. They were tossed out even though other nearby heterosexual couples had done the same and were not tossed out. It seems like a clear case of discrimination. And SF's answer was not to discipline the employee who did this, but to remove the rule entirely. It's a pretty terrible response.

EDIT: it happened at Six Flags Mexico
