Rumor Six Flags Fiesta Texas Project 2027 (?): “Next Signature Attraction”

This weekend was the ACE Winterfest event and Fiesta Texas was in attendance. Someone who I follow in a different forums was there and 4 main keynote interested me

•New Six Flags/Cedar Fair basically gave them everything they wanted
•DC Universe will open by Spring Break
•Paper Cups Program might come in 2026

But what I found the most interesting was this note:
•a lot of teasers surrounding Dr. Diabolical’s where we’ll find out more info “later this year”

Teases surrounding Dr. Diabolical’s? We’ll find out more later this year? What does they mean by this?

Could we see some kind of updates on Cliffhanger or a new ride that’ll act like a sequel story to Cliffhanger?

It could be for Fright Fest. Dr. Diabolical is the main character of Fright Fest at this park.

I was at the Winterfest. He said that Dr. D is gathering the Six Flags Management and B&M for the project. So B&M's involved.

It seems like they could build over the path and railroad tracks and go towards Gully Washer.

If it is a family wing, I hope it's launched because I know they can do that with wings. It would be fun to have another launch coaster, and it would be one of a kind (first launched (edit: full circuit, forgot to add that since Jumanji is launched) family wing coaster). (I really like launches.)

I don't think my edit was shown, but I forgot to add that Mandrill Mayhem was launched. I meant first full circuit launched because I assumed that if it was a new family wing it would be full circuit. I just was dumb and forgot to add that to the post.

I was just looking at an arial view of SFFT (even from above the park is nice to look at ) With the removal of kid flash, this leaves a really nice sized plot of land that can easily be combined with the green space next to DD cliffhanger to become the location of a sizable "family thrill coaster. If teasers from Winterfest hold true, I'd keep an eye out at the B&M factory for some track!

Also, I believe if this is a family coaster themed to a Dr. Diabolical "character cohort", this may be telling as to where the new Six Flags priorities are when it comes to theming. Will they prioritize original names and themes or opt to keep moving with licensed DC themes? IMO I would advocate for the unique, non licensed themes. Time will tell...

That grass area behind the defunct kid Flash probably will never be developed. It is a prime spot to watch the fireworks and lasers from.

Today is the first day of Roller Coaster Rodeo and there was a welcome reception presentation hosted by Jeffrey Siebert. During the presentation, he mentioned the 35th anniversary in 2027 and that “big things are coming”
If we are already talking about a 2027 attraction 2 years from now, it’s gotta be something big

Yes it will be a coaster for there 35th anv. In 2027. I still expect something in 2026 a surprised announcement. I hope they take out kid flash replace ot with a Z Waves water park. We need more water rides in the dry park. That would be perfect .

Looks like the same "All parks with a season pass in 2026" teaser the other parks have been launching. Should be announced 7/31 with other plans.

There is another video with static, guess this could be an early clue. But I think for 2026 they're probably taking a backseat to SFOT and doing some smaller projects around the park.

I wonder what are the plans in 2027, another ride that is a first for six flags since what that park is known for: testing grounds on the firsts for a six flags park
