This is easily one of the weirdest/most intriguing attraction projects in development right now in my opinion and it's getting basically zero press.

The rumor is that Silver Dollar City is currently building an all-new, Rocky Mountain Construction-produced version of their existing darkride/indoor roller coaster hybrid, Fire in the Hole.

Some recent-ish construction photos can be found below.

If this comes to life, maybe we could see a version debut at Dollywood for Blazing Fury 😉

Hm this is odd, i wonder if nobody has truly picked up on it yet. Was it getting rough? Ive never ridden it so i cant tell, and sdc seems like the park that’d preserve its old historic rides

I looked into it, but SDC isn't actually in Branson—it's in an unincorporated area of Stone County. Stone County doesn't have any sort of online anything so knowing what, if anything, is obtainable from a distance is difficult.

I could cast a broad net FOIA request, but those typically carry a cost and my expectations regarding what, if anything, there is to find aren't terribly positive. There's a good chance that a site plan would only show the bounds of the building and that would just be a lot of wasted time and money.

So. Interesting find in a discord server (and before you ask, I debated a entire day before posting these here, since they were posted a day ago, and I don’t remember who posted them, I will check however) but here are some photos of fire in the hole 2.0. Enjoy.
It looks like the same layout. I really hope I’m wrong and it just looks like that from the angles of these photos because I was hoping they would change it up a little bit to spice it up from the original.

I see the web page, FYI, though not exactly as you have it pictured. Aside from the initial image you have there, it's a text press release.

Kind of an anticlimactic announcement if we're being honest.

"We know there have been so many exciting rumors about RMC Fire in the Hole!, so here's RMC Fire in the Hole!"

Yup moving on. Can't wait to check it out whenever the hell I figure out the easiest way to get to SDC is.

Apparently the livestream is still ongoing and more is currently being announced. They said they purchased an additional 1,000 acres of land.
