The description below is a work in progress.

SheiKra opens in the Stanleyville section of the park in May 2005. The coaster went floorless when it reopened after Memorial Day in 2007.[1]

Cool temperatures and a biting breeze today forced the park to partially drain the pool at SheiKra, so that the water effect was not functioning. The water level was brought down just below where the scoops reach when passing by.

So they have removed the funnels. I wonder why...

Aren't the funnels a form of brakes? Seems like it flies over that hill and turn into the brake run.

Yes the funnels are a form of trim breaks. Screamscape is reporting that they are painting some of the ride's supports so the funnels have been removed to keep the supports dry.

Edit....it's pretty cool to see an up close evac like this. Its creepy that I would enjoy this scenario.

Looks like that train on the lift isn't stuck but was properly stopped since there is a train sitting on the blocks before first drop.

Not something I want to think about. I had that thought riding i305. I couldn't imagine walking down that hill. I assume they clip you to the railing? I noticed clips along the rails on the way up the hill. 45 degrees is no joke.

Getting evacuated from a coaster is my nightmare. I have a massive fear of falling.

I don't even have a fear of heights, and I'd hate having to walk down some of those super steep lift hills. Especially in the rain...

It's going to be down for the forseeable future as they cannot diagnose what the issue is with the ride. They just received a part over the weekend from Busch Gardens Williamsburg which did not solve the problem.
