Six Flags America in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., announced it will close early and limit entry for the remainder of the season after fights broke out on the first night of Fright Fest.

I can't remember the original hours -- 'til 10, and 9 Sundays? Or 11? Also from their site "no guests can enter the park during the last operating hour" ... 8 PM then. No reservations on the site yet.

If you take away nothing from that article except the "no one was arrested".......this is the problem. No one held accountable. Those thugs are sitting round right now laughing about jumping on peoples cars and smashing windows for their "street cred" and social media posts. So in the end they get away scott free and the law abiding paying guests get the shaft with less park hours for what they pay......typical.

Arresting people in a situation like that isn't always the safest thing for the officers to do especially when there are not a ton of them around. Officers trying to arrest someone in a crowd have been blindsided and hurt or killed in the past. Imagine what the consequences of one of those officers going to arrest someone and while wrestling to get them in handcuffs someone got around behind them and took their weapon. As frustrating as it is that no one was immediately held responsible it was a reasonable call given the video I have seen. The article also said that the police are working to ID those responsible and charge them so just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't.
