Serengeti Safari is the park's up-charge tour that allows you to get up close to several of the species on the plains, including the chance to hand feed giraffes. The 30 minute tour costs between $19 and $39 per person, depending on the day and season. Discounts are available for Pass Members (regularly 10%), and specials for both Pass Members and the general public are occasionally offered, usually in the off-season.

From the park's site:

Grab a spot on a spacious open-air touring vehicle and trek across the wide and wild African Plain on an unforgettable Serengeti Safari®. Our Serengeti Plain® is a 65-acre recreation of life on the home of the last great migration on earth. Here you'll see hundreds of fascinating animals and get up-close to some you can even feed by hand. You’ll meet familiar favorites like our zebras, giraffes and ostriches while learning about other exotic animal species. Join us on this celebration of wildlife and wild places. And don’t forget your camera—the photo opportunities are amazing. Reservations are encouraged as space is limited.

Please pick up your tickets no later than one hour before your tour time at the Up Close Adventure Center as soon as you enter the park. You will receive tickets and a map with instructions on when/where to check in for your tour.

And the park's restrictions/disclaimers:

All programs are subject to availability. Park admission is required and is not included. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices listed are per person and do not include tax. Must be 5 years of age or older to participate on the Serengeti Safari®. Animal interactions and program components may vary.

These new additional tours are amazing!! I remember they use to have a "Serengeti Night Safari" and I would love to see that return in some form, but to get out on the plain that early is awesome. Pricing doesn't seem too steep, and Rhino interactions are rarely offered as well! So nice to see that return in any capacity !!
