I can also verify that I saw a bunch turned away it held up the line but glad to see it enforced. Also sizable ticket booth line wonder how many of those people were turn away upgrading.

So last year members bring a friend passes were valid for mambership preview night. Tonight the kiosks printed the tickets that show only valid for today but they arenot accepting them at the gate. The kiosk shoudnt be showing them if they are no good tonight. Alot of people wasted a bring a friend ticket tonight.
Bgw has gone from pushing old members off the old cheap passes to just being absolutely rediculous with this. They are being super confusing and inconsistent. The whole situation is just being handled really poorly. If you want to exclude certain groups you need to A. Have a very good reason to do so for each and every group and B. Make it very clear in every publication that those groups are excluded. Every event and benefit for swo and bgt has fine print that is easily available to read. It will day weather you can bring friends and which passes and fun cards etc are valid.
Secondly the idea that other park passes are excluded from this is absolutely bonkers. The idea that in order to get access to all the parks for the whole year you need to buy each parks pass or membership is directly counter to the purpose of a platinum membership.

They have made it very clear. It isn't listed on the operating calendar as an operating calendar. On the park website it is clearly marked as a member only sneak peak and it is clearly listed on the member benefits.When the park send out emails they don't send them to passholders but only members. The issues arises with some temp who is working in the call center doesn't understand that BGW is different from the other parks in that they sell memberships whole the other parks have continued to call them passholders.
This event is listed as a member benefit that you only receive at your home park. There are a number of benefits that you can only receive at your own park like the $10 reward. I see no problem with the park hosting special events that are for members only. Do you think that with my Platinum membership I should be able to go to BGT or SWO and expect to get all the benefits that they have for their passholders? Personally I think the park is well within their rights to restrict events to only guests with certain tickets
