What on earth...

SWSD is also the park that prior to this coaster would have received a Skyrocket II, a skywarp and a massive B&M all in consecutive years. 4 in a row would be nuts

Yeah but with SEAS committing to spend $150 million each year on attractions we really don't know what to expect. The old expectations should be thrown out the window.

Here are the graphics from the article in case anyone's interested. Looks like a fun ride. Note that it will still need to be approved by the California Coastal Commission.

This coaster and Manta would have completely different elements, along with a different train style. Manta focuses more on airtime and intense helixes while this would be less intense and focus on side to side turns.

Still though, a woodie would work much better (Even though it doesn't necessarily fit the theme of the area.)

A woodie would be a nice addition. SWSD has the problem that they are only allowed so many rides that are above 30 feet. That's another reason why although this is similar to Manta it still makes sense for the park.

Maybe they could pull an Alton Towers and build and invert that involves underground trenches. That would be really cool and it would broaden SWSD's portfolio of attractions.

They would still need to get it approved by the California Coastal Commission. I wouldn't be optimistic about a ride that had a large trench system in order to give it a larger drop
