Today was SWSD’s town hall and a lot of promising information was talked about. (Now this was all from scareventures live stream)

Let’s start with F&B improvements

- Improving food quality

- They wanna make lines more efficient by training ambassadors more and retraining

- they are working on refilling ice and adding new ice machines

Park Improvements

- 5% surcharge is gone

- more animal focused experiences are on the way

- old self service kiosks are bad (who knew)

- tide pools are returning in the future

- Park exclusive merchandise and color tag pricing system is coming soon

Entertainment

- Shamu is here to stay

- They know howl-o-scream was bad in 2022 and 2023

- Monster Stomp will be inspired by Texas it seems

Can we get some at other parks across the chain too, please?

I wonder what this means for Howl O Scream, other than the introduction of Monster Stomp. Hopefully some major upgrades/replacements for the houses and an effort to create a more immersive and scary atmosphere on par with HOS at the other parks. Any acknowledgement of the weakness of Spooktacular and Christmas Celebration the past couple years?

Good news all around for this park. To be fair, the 5% surcharge removal might actually be thanks to California's new anti-junk fee law which goes into effect this month, but hey, still a win!
