News SeaWorld San Antonio Project 2024: Flat Rides Relocation

An area by Wave Breaker is fenced off, and it appears that parts of Big Bird's Spinning Reef and Elmo's Dolphin Dive are in the area. Both flat rides were in the Bay of Play area, and it looks like they are going to be relocated.

These are pretty easy to setup so, this would make sense

Both flat rides are being installed in the area by Wave Breaker. Unfortunately, it looks like Big Bird's Spinning Reef will be out in the sun again.

The ride vehicles for Big Bird's Spinning Reef have been installed, and fencing has been installed around it. The side panels were removed from Elmo's Dolphin Dive.

Happy to see rides pop up like this. Not all kiddie rides need to be stuck in the "designated kiddie area."

(Now I wish they'd add more family flats in like this, but it's a good thing to see the park try to grow rather than just replace)
