Do all SEAS parks hire their ride operators ride-by-ride like that? I wonder why they do that instead of just hiring operators and assigning them to specific rides/areas later.
As far I can tell, by browsing the other parks’ hiring pages, nope. I wonder if because Catapult falls is such a unique ride that they’ll want a dedicated crew? As such you would have to be hired to work Catapult falls instead of cross training?

When I applied to be a ride operator at SeaWorld San Antonio, I did not find out what ride I was going to operate until I was hired. I think that this is the first time that I have seen the ride specified on a job posting.

Catapult Falls is testing! This video shows one of the boats going over the bunny hill after the launch and into the first splash down. No opening date has been announced so far, but the current rumor is that they are trying to open it around 4th of July.

Still a million times better than the Pipeline sign. That one looks like it was made in a university print shop.
