Knowing what happened at Shoot the Rapids... this is kind of terrifying. I trust the engineers... but at the same time..... Great idea and can't wait to see what the actual launch would look like vs the rendering. Right now I don't see how they will safely keep the boat on top. But it's just an animation, so I'll wait and see.

When I rode Steel Eel Monday, I got a good view of two rectangular concrete pools next to the station, but nothing is vertical on the ride yet. Apart from that, I was only able to get some general pictures by standing on the curb and looking over the fence across the path from Wave Breaker...

I would gladly take something like this instead of Roman Rapids. Time will tell how it compares to Infinity Falls.
