I can confirm attest to reports that Kraken will could be retired in early-to-mid 2026 for a 2027 coaster replacing it at SeaWorld Orlando, specifically produced by Mack Rides.

There’s a decision to be made. Do you either want to:oh my god, why didn't seaworld just give kraken the hulk treatment where they rebuild the whole ride
There’s a decision to be made. Do you either want to:
Tear down the existing coaster and rebuild it to the exact specifications, with potentially some new theming? Does sound like a decent option.
OR…
Use the money to replace it with a brand new and completely different coaster, with a different make and model, that could be a novelty to the region? A brand new ride sounds even more interesting.

That is quite a bold claim.
Rode it a few times yesterday and was still pretty smooth imo. Unless things are starting to fall apart behind its paint...?
Rode it last month for the first time and I thought it was really smooth. It’s still a really good rideSeems like all the chatter about kraken has gone quiet, i wonder what the situation is now lol. just randomly thought about it again.
It can ride well but if it’s reached the end of the service life, a decision has to be made to either rebuild it or tear it downI second this, the ride is running really well still. I don't see a reason to get rid of it. I'd like to see a JTA refresh/ new front entrance for this park before another coaster.
