From Shane's Amusement Attic on TPR
In the late 90s, CGA was in talks with Morgan to build a 200+ foot hypercoaster on the property perimeter. Thanks to noise complaints from the neighbors however, the park ultimately scrapped the concept. The ride was initially given the generic name "Speed Coaster" with a Coney Island theme but Paramount wanted the park to use one of their IPs on the project instead.
Some of the IPs include War of the Worlds, one of the studio's disaster films, Beavis and Butthead, and even the Brady Bunch.
