I think the experience is fantastic up until the point where they try to add a photo that is not included in the (already outrageous) price. Otherwise, Santa and the atmosphere are excellent, and the food is the best you will get from a Busch Gardens buffet.
The show is in several 2-5 minute segments with 'Twas The Night Before Christmas being the longest. I believe the event itself is 30-60 minutes, depending on how early you get there and how late you leave.

If you have a PhotoKey already, are you able to use that for the Santa photo?
I was told when I purchased mine in March, "YES". (that is for when you meet Santa normally, when you meet santa at fireside feast it is not included because it is not a digital option but a hard copy photo)
I hope they changed it to where that's correct. In the past, I was told "No." to PhotoKey.
This is the first year a whole year photo key has been offered. Santa pictures were included with a high level christmastown photo key only in the past as I've used it the last couple years with my daughter. Like i said it never included the picture in fireside feast as long as i remember but it worked with santa's workshop. It even works as a fastpass for santa's workshop and rudolph.
I have not heard anything but since decent up charge event I wouldn't rule out them doing it even at the expense of staffing regular food places.
