Sandstorm was an orbiter style flat ride with six arms, each with four cars. Each set of cars also spun on the arm. It opened in 1980 [1] or 1981 [2] in the Timbuktu section of the park, and closed in 2013 as part of Falcon's Fury construction. The ride is supposed to be relocated to Sesame Place in PA.
