Completely agree, I live closer to SFA than any other park but still think it’s crazy what people believe (or read about on their echo chamber social media) and post. When Ocean City Md had incidents on the boardwalk a few years ago it was supposedly due to either “Antifa being bussed in” or “Covid checks allowing [those people] the ability to take a beach vacation”! Right now, the initial news stories are claiming Hersheypark responded promptly and banned the guests, while FB comments claim groups of 50 or so teens.. Once the videos start spreading (see Channel 5 Ratchet News) we’ll see that it’s probably somewhere in the middle: concerning that there was no security around the incident but not roving gangs terrorizing the dining halls. Still, we should see some appropriate response from all of the regional parks.
I am reminded of the "300" person fight at KD during Haunt to years ago. I have in depth knowledge of that incident and the 300 number is the over 300 people that received bans during the incident not yhe number actually involved in the fight. My guess is that the 50 number here is much like that 300 number going to include a bunch of people associated with the incident that might not have been personally involved in the actual acts of misconduct.
