Ridder's Revenge (Not to be confused with "Riddler Revenge" at SFNE) is a fantastic ride! Along with X2 and Tatsu, was one of the best things I did all day! Real Mantis vibes, but I feel like the elements flowed a lot better here (better than Mantis or Chang/Green Lantern). I swear I don't hear anyone talk about this one but I really enjoyed it.

This ride has held up well and still looks great at the park. Possibly since Magic Mountain has so many coasters and many arguably better than Riddler, Riddler gets lost in the shuffle. If it were at a different park, say Michigan's Adventure, Riddler would be the star attraction people talk about next to Shivering Timbers.

Although it has been years since I rode RR, it remains easily the best standup I have ridden (and I really enjoy standups) and simply a terrific ride, period. Few coasters surprise me with a ride experience that goes so far beyond my initial expectations, but RR made it into that tier for me. Mid-ride I found myself truly impressed by how much fun I was having.

All the standard "standups are bad and dumb and wrong" content surely will find this post irresistible, and I realize my opinion on standups is not a typical one anymore. But RR is a damned good ride and, as suggested by others, it would get a lot more positive attention in many other parks than it does in the crowded SFMM lineup.

I agree! If great adventure had this instead of Green Lantern I would ride it multiple times every visit. It’s that good.

wasn't. great adventure supposed to build their own stand up coaster similar to riddlers revenge instead of getting chang from Kentucky Kingdom?

I have never heard this nor does it make any sense. Nobody was building new stand up coasters in the 2010s

Also never heard this. The last B&M standup before Pipeline was Riddler’s Revenge, not to say a ride model can’t come back from the dead (as evidenced by 3 Vekoma tilts this year) but I doubt it would’ve been the case for this model, at least at the time.

I disagree, a ride like Riddler's Revenge needs a large park to continue existing. A large number of guests will not give Riddler's Revenge very many rides; but since it is hard to run with high throughput, and it is at a large park, it is still able to pull enough riders to regularly have a line.
