they may eventually put something on that plot it may be awhile.
Yeah, I expect whatever comes to this area in the future to be a few years away. It will not be the 2025 attraction (at least that is what I assume).

There are a lot of exciting opportunities for what could come in the future, considering that Milli's unused land is near Snake River Falls.

With Thunder Canyon now the only water ride in the dry park, I hope there will be a future water attraction down the pipeline. Considering the survey from earlier this year, a Mack Rides water coaster would be perfect. One can dream.

Let’s compile a bit of information;

- Anyone remember that coaster survey from April? Four ideas; Mack water coaster, Vekoma tilt, Zamperla Family Shuttle coaster, and the stupid Xtreme spinner tower. Last two don’t have a chance in hell of being built.
- The water coaster shown was a leaked pitch for a German park’s 2026 project (Freizeitpark Plohn); therefore, we know for sure they’ve had discussions with Mack sales team.
- Literally the same week the survey was published, corporate signed a contract for the park’s “next big whatever”. No timeframe given, could still be waterpark related but very interesting that this all happened so close together.

Either way something is cooking.

I'd really love to see a new GCI wooden coaster. Station next to Skyhawk, and lift/layout that goes over the water out to the island, and back again. In the vein of Mystic Timbers, Prowler, Renegade, or Gold Striker, but distinctly unique - that's my vote.

Edit: Now I'm just listing other GCIs in the chain.

Didn't take long for RMC to jump in (good luck with that one!)...

There are so many great options for CP with the space this will grant.

That said, seeing the removal of Shoot The Chutes (as old as this one was, and as good as the new attraction will very likely be) will always make me sad. On crowded park days, there's no better place to make a quick stop than one of those drenching bridges.

I wonder if there is any connection between the upcoming closure of SRF and the extended summer closure of White Water Landing at Dorney Park.

A lot of these rides are starting to age out, and seem less popular with guests than ever these days. Tidal Force at Hersheypark is back open after a multi-week closure this year (and had a longer downtime last Summer too), and barely pulls a 20 min wait on the busiest days. Although that's a Hopkins model.

If you asked me. There are endless possibilities for this plot of land. But four ideas come to mind for now

1. Vekoma Hyper Tilt Coaster
2. Mack Xtreme Spinner
3. Mack Water Coaster (most likely imo)
4. GCI Wooden Coaster

Not to suggest anything…But…..something like this would work fantastic

What's even funnier is that this is the ride Cedar Fair leaked in a survey for Cedar Point back in April, which perhaps Mack can't have been too happy about. Point is though, Plohn had that locked in awhile ago and Mack definitely pitched it to Cedar Fair. It is extremely realistic that they were mulling something similar as an immediate Snake River Falls replacement, although given you know and some VERY last minute shake ups I'd imagine these plans are in the air.

With the removal of both, it makes for a very attractive plot of land for, what I would think, a GCI wooden coaster. A small one but, if creative enough, could be effective. Is the land on Millennium Island still used for the adventure walk through attraction?

No, Frobiden Frontier did not last long. As it turns out, people go to Cedar Point for the coasters. It's location did not help it, you had to go out of your way to partake in the activities. As far as I know, Snake River Expeditions did not open this year as well.
