Removal of Peanuts Road Rally & Joe Cool's Driving School

It is a little fishy that those three rides in particular would be the ones missing. Two aging kiddie rides and a highly seasonal, staff-intensive water ride that’s been removed elsewhere in the chain? Not a great sign.
I’ve long worried White Water Canyon wouldn’t be much longer for this world, but if this rumor ends up being true it’ll definitely be the most devastating 2025 ride removal. Unlike the others, White Water Canyon is actually a great ride for what it is.
Fingers crossed it’s just a fluke, but I won’t hold my breath. Damn.
Edit: I confused Joe Cool Driving School with Peanuts Turnpike. Driving School is a pretty unique attraction. Bummer if it’s gone.
Edit #2: Just checked the mobile app and they’re not on the map either. Ouch.

Just want to note that I personally checked the website 2 days ago to look at the ride offerings and those 3 rides weren’t missing then… ouch

Sorry, I checked that too. Hoping Canyon stays - One of the hidden gems of the park IMO.
I first rode White Water Canyon when I was 3 years old. That section of KD feels virtually unchanged since then so this would be a big hit to this park especially for those of us who grew up with KD.
White Water Canyon was my first ever ride at the park, so if it gets removed soon I will be taking a big hit indeed. It's also unique from the other WWCs with the trip through the sawmill at the end of the ride. It may not look like much in comparison to Pompeii or the Loch Ness cave, but it adds an extra layer of charm to this ride that the other versions don't have.
Man i been going since i was a kid and havent even rode it. I assume its miles better than roman rapids?
I’ll say they have not added Pantherian or Rapterra on the app yet either, Ive heard rumors from multiple people that an old kiddie ride was going but White Water Canyon would be surprising as it’s very popular and they just fixed the effects on it
The two Snoopy rides I did hear were on the chopping block along with Anaconda and Berserker. Canyon should be safe though.
Arachnidia, twisted timbers, and pantherian are all also missing from the app. I hope it's just a mistake that WWC is gone, all those being gone make me think it potentially is
It's worth pointing out that WWC has not opened till around Memorial Day since Covid. So one possibility is that it's not opening with the park and that they have chosen only to list rides that will be opening during park opening.
On top of that the park spent a lot of cash replacing several pumps on it at the end of last summer after the motor for one of them over heated and caught fire. It's highly unlikely that they would have dropped that kind of dough for only a few weeks worth of operation. But of course corporate has pulled several surprise removals on parks this year so I wouldn't rule it out either.
My personal belief is that WWC's days are number and assuming that it does open thus year I highly advise fans to get their rides in when they can.

So thankful I got to ride WWC last year. Got stuck in the corral with a dozen boats after us sneaking past. We got SOAKED more than I ever have on any non-waterpark ride and it was a blast with nobody knowing about the secret revival of the cannon. Was a surprisingly memorable moment.
That said, the safety track record of this style ride isn't the greatest, it requires a ton of staff, pumps are a pain, that much water is a pain, it's not a people-eater, and a large chunk of guests don't want to get wet. It wouldn't surprise me if they did get rid of it.

I rode WWC a few years ago and that was enough for me. It is fun, but I don't want to get that wet in regular clothes. The flume is my limit there, and even that is a bit much. I don't understand why rides like this aren't in the water park where it would be hella fun, but I guess some people like sopping wet shirts, shorts, socks and shoes.
While I don't ride WWC a lot, it's still a great ride that I try to at least ride once a year. It definitely has the best setting next to SLC and Grizzly. If it were to go, I'd love to see it replaced with a more modern rapids ride like Mystic River Falls at Silver Dollar City.
