At least it was slowing down from the main drop. Could've been a lot worse if it let go from the top.

Looks like a bad design.

Looks like this was a result of the ride cables breaking. The 2 questions that come to my mind if that's the case:

- How often were there cables inspected, maintained, and replaced?

- Was the ride not designed with some kind of failsafe in case the cabling failed?

It's India, there's basically no standards with the operations of their amusement rides.

I kind of assumed that but was curious if it was either of those things contributing or it was a freak accident.
