News Project 2027: Encanto Dark Ride

As part of the Tropical Americas-themed land addition for Disney's Animal Kingdom, the park has officially announced an Encanto dark ride set after the movie and centered around Mirabel's brother, Antonio, who's special gift is communicating with animals.

Very curious to see what this ride system is. Rumors claimed trackless or onmimover but the concept art looks more like a boat ride to me. Hopefully we see more info soon.

I don't think they've said this is 2027-- just the Indy makeover and carousel. I could be wrong but that's a really short timeline for Disney to build from scratch since they haven't broken ground yet.

I think a good chance its trackless system, but people in other platforms are convinced it’s a boat ride or (in 2026 idk why) an Omnimover.

They removed all the signs from both. They also removed the attached trailer from Resto and a lot of the roofing and siding. Just not visible from this far away

Did they ever say what kind of ride this was going to be officially, I swear I heard boat ride but the patent images in this patent makes me thing its going to be something trackless as that stairwell sure looks like the family Casita.
