They did just acquire a LOT of land, just fyi. This could be a gargantuan announcement, or something small. Who knows?
Resort would be cool. I wanna get out to SDC soon and make the most of it when I do. I'd 100% be able to convince my gf to fly to Missouri w me if there's fun coasters AND a cool resort
I really hope it's a resort. When some of my thoosie friends and I went out to Branson last year, we found lodging to be bizarrely difficult. Even many of the third party SDC partner properties seemed like poor options.
My experience at Dollywood's DreamMore was fantastic and I'd love to see something similar made available for future SDC trips.

I’ve heard rumor that they may look into a golf course as friends of mine said some designers have been asked to come look.

As for their next coaster. If you ask me I think SDC needs the same next two additions as Dollywood.
A Hyper Coaster (or a Giga either or works) & a Thrilling Multi Launch Coaster (Intamin, Mack or Vekoma)

They have a lot of options for this land. It’s very impressive.
Wouldn’t mind seeing a Wildwood Grove esque area at this park like mentioned in that thread

I’ve never been so I have no stake in this. But intentionally misleading people is pretty lame behavior, it only upsets people and associates the actual announcement with disappointment. So if it’s not a giga then whoever is running that Twitter account is pretty dumb to deflate the actual announcement, which I’m sure the park is very excited about…
I sure do hope this is actually a giga coaster. Not that I think the park NEEDS one, but I hate when parks/companies tease like this, only for the reveal to be something else entirely.
Stuff like this is why I despise April Fool's day. Cute jokes are one thing, but don't set me up for a good time only to call me a dumb ass for believing you.
