Do we just assume this is another B&M (sorta weird with Dr. Diabolical having been so recent) or is there a chance this is something else? Cedar Fair marketed HangTime as a dive, right?

Establishing a thread: Chris Galindo on IUForums claims that SFOT is receiving a Giga-Dive model that was apparently planned for Magic Mountain.

I know people are like “oh its another dive” but think about it for a moment. For those who have been on a traditonal giga, the drop is big, now imagine being held face down DIRECTLY AT THAT SAME HEIGHT.

Just remember "record breaking" doesn't necessarily mean tallest/fastest/loopingest/etc.-- could be a 97 degree drop or some other "record".

Falcon's Flight doesn't have an inversion, but if SFGAdv is getting the Shuttle Strata Spinner in 2026 and it has the inverted stall launch, it would take the record preemptively from a theoretical giga Dive Machine. Guess they could claim the "World's Only Inverting Giga Coaster" title? They played that game with Fury, right?

I think a giga dive is GREAT for SFOT. Assuming it’s that and not slightly bigger Rakshasa, which I hope rides substantially smoother than Iron Menace. SFOT is a cool park and definitely one I’m excited to see what the new C-suite does with it. I’d almost describe it as “bizarro Kings Island” even though it’s older.

My honest guess is it’s going to be the most inversions and longest. Or it’s gonna be some lame niche record like biggest second dive or largest immelman.
