Monte has been confirmed to reopen next year. As for any work done on the ride? Not sure.
Appreciated. I was hoping for some updated artwork, detailed story lines etc, something to wet the appetite for this coming announce month of August. But as we all frustratingly know by now, Knotts has its on bizzaro operations that's seperate from the rest of cedar fair, so we may not get anything news worthy until after Haunt, like last year.
I yearn for the day park fans will uncover something new and worthy of excitement at that place...
Has there been any new info on this? I have heard literally nothing about this ever since they announced it's opening next year. Last I heard basically the whole coaster had been taken apart. Is that still the case?
Most of it is under tarps, so don't expect many updates until track arrives. Yes the whole ride except supports have been taken out.

This is an absolute fiasco given how Gerstlauer renovated Turbine at Walibi Belgium.

I was just at the park last week. There is still construction progress; at the beginning of the summer only one of the tall supports was covered by tarps. Now both are. Some of the tarps were damaged by high wind last week though so maybe a little bit of disruption.
Ride is still on track to open next year
The original ride was painted with lead-based paint, so removing/renovating anything requires the tarps to cover the construction.

Asking this as we are 5 days away from 2025 and yet there has been no public talk of an update to this: might Six Flags of pulled the plug on the project?
Following last month work continues to of seemingly been stagnated and crawled down to a halt, and I wonder with the wake of the closures of Anaconda, La Vibora, Kingda Ka/Green Lantern and others; if they might’ve been reconsidering the viability of this project.
Also doesn’t help that this project falls under a similar outsourcing element that brought into that of TT2, where the group involved was a low bidder that seemingly came underprepared for what they are asking of.

I've heard slight rumblings that parts from Scorpion at BGT may end up at Knott's, but I'm not sure how much I believe it.
