Woohoo! I've literally dreamt of this project happening and now it is. So glad this ride is getting the love it deserves. I have to assume this will involve adding some sort of screen-based effects back to the elevator lift, just like they've done with other recent PRKS ride re-imaginings, but I'm hoping they'll go further than that to add more storytelling elements throughout the ride and queue.

Interesting, that's normally sort of a "finishing touches" type of thing. Have they.... actually done anything so far, other than repainting the sign? I hope those indoor scenes are still getting the promised upgrades, otherwise this is going to be the lamest "reimagining" in theme park history, and SWSA just set that bar reeeeally low 😂

Okaaaay, I'm liking what I'm seeing! The queue theming upgrades are an unexpected bonus, and the "dramatic attack sequence" sounds promising. Also, we're getting water effects? That sounds like something entirely new. I really hope they can deliver on all these points.

I love all the work things thing is getting, don't get me wrong... but they've seriously missed almost the entire 2025 season at this point. How did this project go so sideways? How have they missed their timeline by months? Seems absolutely insane to me.

There's really starting to be a trend of United Parks opening new attractions months or even years late. I don't want this to be rushed by any means, and if this is what it takes to get quality stuff that won't break within a year then I'm all for it. But maybe just... don't give an estimated opening date if you aren't sure you can meet it?

I get wanting to be optimistic that they’ll have a new/refurbished ride ready for a season, but with something like this, maybe a “2025-2026” timeframe would’ve given them some room to breathe.

At least it’s not Montezooma’s Revenge, being planned for a 2023 reopening with Kumbak fucking it up so hard that it’s looking like their new 2025 window might be optimistic. Glad they’re finally getting work done on it, though.

New Jta is kind of underwhelming the new line theming is great but the new audio is hard to understand still no elevator screens there’s also a lot of still broken effects scattered around the ride and no water effects like advertised.
