Other side of the coin, manufacturing of track et al has been going on this entire time. He says once the ground prep is completed, it'll pop up quickly.

That's what I was thinking/hoping.
Once the footers are poured the track and supports should be ready and it's a giant erector set.

I'm fine with speculation based on experience. Likely more accurate. But it's not the same as actual insiders saying it'll be June or later.

I'll continue to hold out hope until it's official. I've had such hopes dashed before. ;)

A few unimpressive px. Ground work has begun behind the building. Massive holes upfront getting concrete (no px). Parking lot inundated with parts and some machinery also which i have no idea what it is cause I'm not a construction guy

Mngmnt says all of the concrete has set, cured, dried, whatever the proper word is and the coaster should start rising this coming week. Nothing new in the backyard, and they hardly had room for parking on today's first day outside open due to coaster parts everywhere.

It's gonna be tough to resist booking a $67 SW flight to ATL once this thing opens. Still have yet to hit SFOG and 2 RMCs in the same trip sounds amazing along with Goliath.
Thinking this might be a Thanksgiving trip for me, possibly on the way back from Florida. My Six Flags pass is good for the 2022 season, and while I don't have a FSA season pass this year, I should be able to pick up the 2023 all park pass around Thanksgiving time at a significant discount. The best part is that they usually allow you to start using it immediately without having to wait until January 1st.

Nothing new in the backyard. No further along the front stretch. These px don't do it justice. This thing is massive and still going up. Also, the train car has come home.

I desperately hope this investment pays off for them. Hard to imagine a much better roadside advertisement than this structure!
There is a major shopping center called the Pavillion, I'd say a mile or more from the park, and you can see the structure just over the trees from there, and it still has a lot more height to be added.
