Looks like SWSA was drafting blueprints for a PowerSplash in late 2019.

Yeah. They do. Potentially what I was thinking is that they may have gone with the loop option to differentiate it from journey to Atlantis

^ I doubt that, honestly. It's a relatively modern attraction (I think it opened in 2007?), so I'd think they'd want to keep JtA around for a while.

It looks like the PowerSplash may not be the only thing planned for 2021. I’ve seen a rumor going around that they will be adding an S&S screamin swing as well

This project is supposedly for 2022. 2021 is confirmed to be the Screamin' Swing, and construction is already underway by the lake.
