In case you've been living under a rock, Epcot's Universe of Energy pavilion is dead and a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed indoor roller coaster is slated to take its place by Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary (2021).

Anyway, the reason I'm creating a thread for this project now? We are finally getting official details about the ride system!

I'm blown away by how smooth the rotation of these cars looks. Bravo Vekoma!

Sweet! Should be better than the two rides that were previously hosted in that building. ?

It's being theorized that there's going to be a lot of projection domes along the track of the ride to show scenes on, so that you can't see the track from anywhere else.

To give an idea on the size....it can fit 4 spaceship earths.

There's a rumor that the story is going to be 'energy based' with stealing harbulary batteries (hehe) from the Sovereign and getting away with them to take them to an underpowered planet.

Isn't Grizzly like Everest? It has a backwards section but it's midway thru the ride. The way they describe Guardians, it starts with a backwards launch.
