Looks like silver dollar city is growing next year in adding a new section and a large raft ride.

Their marketing team came up with:

"the tallest drop on a raft ride in the Western Hemisphere" whatever that actually means...

Because it drops 45ft? Gotta have a hook, somehow I guess...

The elevator lift is kinda cool..

And from the article it looks like they've put a lot of effort into theming/storylining this.

Yeah it looks like fun, and some very creative area and ride.
Thank goodness it is not by Intamin it wouldn't be open until summer is over. Like SWO almost dealt with thank goodness we have great weather down here in Orlando.

That elevator lift is really kind of cool and unique.

Oh dear lord really? So, I'm a very anti-litigation guy. Courts should throw this out without bothering to even hear the case.

I'm going to guess that by appearing to not *selectively* defend his trademark against only certain companies, he'll have a better case. Marginally.

I don't know, I'm not a lawyer.

I wonder if more parks will continue to beef up their Intamin rapids by almost doing the “RMC” treatment, in a way. Add more theming to fit the storyline, an elevator lift, and a large drop and it could easily be marketed as a brand new family ride and give life to an older staple of the theme park industry. Infinity Falls opened the door to the rapids renaissance and showed us the capabilities of a modern rapids ride and this addition only proves that there’s still a lot of room for improvement if parks are willing to pay for it.
