Just thought I'd post this since it may have an effect on us here in WBurg. Some plans for the project have come out, and the construction area looks MASSIVE. It shows Blackstone isn't really holding back on investing in the parks, which bodes well for us!

A petting zoo type thing has been rumored to return to bgw. Maybe this is a sign of things to come. Either way I think a new coaster should come first.

petting zoo back in BGW? where'd you hear that?

I've heard that as well, can't pinpoint exactly where I've heard it, but heard murmurs of it for a little while now.

That would be great if BGW would bring that back. I remember it well from when I was a kid and I miss it. Does anyone know when it might return? Would it be right next to Sesame, since that's where it originally was?

There's tons of construction going on in the park.. Looks like they've started building this tunnel that we've all been hearing about.. We're pretty sure it's going to be a coaster. Team members have been asked about it and they've responded to questions and we also over-heard a few employees talking about it. Check out the new pics here.

Good news for BGW since they seem to get similar attractions after BGT.

Depends on how you look at it. People around here (including me) are in love with B&M, I'd rather them stick with what works.

actually, the petting zoo was built where sesame stands now. There isn't much room left over.

Well, I was just down in Florida and visited Tampa. There was this giant topiary Cheetah just sitting in the middle of where the Clydesdale's used to be which I believe is a clue to the new coaster themeing. The old monorail cue line area will be reused for the ride and it looks to be a "speed" terrain type coaster. Hmmm.... Busch Gardens parks love to build in pairs. Could something similar replace Wolf?

The site in Tampa is massive and I have photos of work being done. It looks to span the entire length of the park from the stables to the end of the safari! ;) I can post the pics as soon as I download my hundreds of photos from the trip.

Sorry y'all. "Potterville" (as I call it) was closed. I hate Universal! I was at least hoping to walk the streets and buy things in the shops even if the rides were not open. Dumb, stupid Universal! Grrrrrr!!!
