Related but unrelated but I know of now 5 people that have been fired for remote working like that. 2 of them were at Disney a lot, 2 at Universal, and the last one at Cedar Park. 1 of the 5 were responsible for a data leak (and they were using a hot spot devise not public Wi-Fi), and 2 of the 5 had things stolen/lost and the only way was to have the company geolocate the items. The friend with the CP pass was caught because he made sales in VA, NC, and Canada at other CF parks and the government went at the company for improper tax payments.

So long story short - if you work for someone else be careful remote working like that because employers are starting to crack down on that.

As for the issue of allowing others into the lounge off one persons pass - I’m inclined to side with the park. Mostly because this is how all the communication issues happen. They make an exception for one parent with one kid. Well what happens if it’s one parent 4 kids? 1 parent, 2 kids, 1 friend on a daily ticket? What’s the age cut off for the kids to need the right pass?do you limit how many free items the non pass holder can have?

I think it’s just cleaner and easier to hard line it at Prestige Lounge is for Prestige Passes only. I applaud them for having that line and sticking to it.

Yeah, I understand why they do it. Would be too much of a headache and exceptions tend to become the rule over time if allowed.

FWIW, the girl working the desk mentioned that if kids are on the pre-k pass, they are allowed in with you. Don’t know if that is policy or not, but that is what I was told

I would be fine with the pre-K pass because that's seen as a add on to having the parent pass rather than it's own stand alone thing.

Would be interested in what other people have said/heard about kids on the pre-K pass coming in.

Lounge is all decked out for Christmas and even has it's own hot chocolate supply.
