Possible 3rd Gate for Universal Orlando

This new info pretty much sheds light on why Universal Orlando was fighting the Skyplex project on Sand Lake Road and I Drive.  The company is set to buy almost 500 acres of land just northeast of the convention centers. That's more than enough room for a third gate with resorts.  The Skyplex project is much closer to this property than the Studios or IOA.

I am very interested in the small 20 - 40 acre plots. My guess is that they are for Hotels or perhaps office space. My fantasy is that they are buying up lots and getting right of ways from existing owners to install some kind of tram between the 2 bigger parcels.

I'd be interested to see this if they do build a third park and can possibly link it with other resorts and the existing Universal Parks. There is plenty of room to easily do this on the Universal Blvd. corridor south of Sand Lake. However, from Sand Lake headed north to the existing parks would be kind of tricky as that area is heavily developed.
