I have a good tip for people going to the park on how to save money on food by planning ahead. If you know that you will be eating in the park, go and buy a Dining Certificate which can be found on this page.

They come in four different types.

Silver [$11.99]:
The Silver dining certificate is redeemable at any Busch Gardens Williamsburg restaurant for any entrée and a regular sized non-alcoholic beverage.

Gold [$13.29]:
The Gold dining certificate is redeemable at any Busch Gardens Williamsburg restaurant for any entrée and any one item from a selection of side salads, side dishes, or desserts and a regular sized non-alcoholic beverage.

Platinum [$14.79]:
The Platinum dining certificate is redeemable at any Busch Gardens Williamsburg restaurant for any entrée and any two items from a selection of side salads, side dishes, or desserts and a regular sized non-alcoholic beverage.

Kid's Meal Certificate [$6.99]:
This Kid's Meal Certificate is redeemable at any Busch Gardens Williamsburg restaurant for one kid's meal package which includes a kid's meal and choice of beverage.

Depending on where you eat, it could be a good deal or it could be a bad deal, but for most things (especially at the Smokehouse) it is a very good deal. The first time I used one, I got a Platinum and shared a platter from the Smokehouse with someone and saved more than $7.

Please note: Prices where last updated on 3/2/2010, if you notice that one has changed, please PM me and I will change it.

Are these the passmember prices of not. There is a small discount that will bring the stated prices up or down depending on what those prices are.

I'm going to agree with Swiftman. The platters at Festhaus and Smokehouse give you enough food to share among two people. I'll still end up spending $20 bucks on a meal with the beer, but it's still a better deal than buying a couple platters.

I checked the site and there doesn't seem to be a passmember discount on these. I saw them before but It was only like a buck or two. I'll be getting one for the 20th.

I went with my dad the other day with out the ticket and we spent about twice the price of when we do. And just so you know the ticket fills me and whoever's with me.

also, my appetite is about 3-4 PB&J's. that should be a fairly relatable term.

If you have any kiddies with you when you go I suggest going to the Squire's Grille in England. If you get the kids meal without the bucket its less than regular meal. Plus, the kid gets a drink. And, the absolute best thing is they cook your food when you order it! IT IS WARM! Its the opposite of the Festhaus cause sometimes the pizza is cold. Did I mention that they have pizza at Sqire's? Yeah they do. They also have fish which is pretty dang good.:D
