Big news out of Colombia! Parque del Café has announced the second Gerstlauer Infinity Invert to be built!
There is no opening timeframe yet, but given the announcement time, I would say either late 2024 or early 2025 for an opening.
From the currently available information, a diagram of the layout and stats listed on RCDB, it will be on the smaller side, clocking in at 1,164.7 feet long, 85.3 feet tall, and 2 inversions. Top speed is not yet known.
The ride looks to be able to run 2 trains, and the trains are currently noted as 6 row trains, with 2 seats per row, making a grand total of 12 riders per train.
Given that the park this attraction is going to is a smaller park, capacity really shouldn’t be too big an issue. Their last coaster was a Gerstlauer family coaster, so another Gerstlauer here isn’t too surprising. Can’t wait to see how this turns out!
