Not sure if I mentioned this in a minor change thread; however, I did notice near the end of 2011 some of the trams had LED lighting instead of the traditional incandescent, for the passenger lights. I'm wondering if they plan to replace all the lights on the trams to LED.

So, as we were leaving Busch put out a sign saying: no tram services please use the stairs, or something to that effect. Is it normal for them to close the trams when the park is under severe weather. I kinda felt bad for all the people that had to walk the long way to their cars.

For me it's not the taking the tram part that bothers me, its waiting 20 minutes for the 3rd or 4th tram to actually get on. It's easier just to walk in that case.

I actually enjoy taking the trams. I think it’s a bit of a nostalgia thing. As a kid we always took the trams and in my excitement I viewed it as the first “ride” of the day. Even today the tram makes me feel a bit giddy thinking back on that. ?

I have PTSD from years ago when the preferred lot was full (HOS) and I had to take the tram. The ride to the park was fine. The half hour wait in a chaotic mob to get on a tram back to the car was very much not. The last thing I want to do after a long day at the park is stand in yet another line to get back to my car. Admittedly, I have a fairly low tolerance for lines to begin with.

Excellent points. I probably blocked the annoying parts out as a child. I don’t get a chance to ride the trams often anyway because my husband has absolutely no patience for my tram-riding enjoyment when we have perfectly good VIP parking with our membership. I mean, he has a point I guess. ?

Definitely nostalgic of Hershey Park & Busch Gardens growing up. As an adult, strollers & diaper bags & cranky kids at the end of the day have bad memories. ?

I used to like the tram rides at parks as a kid too, but I haven't waited for a tram in a long time.
Really? Last time I went to Busch (October), I thought I was required to ride the tram. And for years I have tried to skip the tram and walk to Germany or wherever I parked, but security would only let me do that during HOS when parking lots were overcrowded.

Because I was one of those people in a stroller for quite a while, I actually don’t mind. I can block out the kids and I don’t mind the tram crowds. What bothers me, though, is when I can’t walk in front of a group of people and I end up stuck behind them the entire path from France to Germany.

I haven't been to BGW for a LONG time. Pretty sure BBW was the new ride then. It was definitely pre-Drachen Fire in any case.

Also, I think I'm in the wrong thread.

I hate them. Mostly because my mom always scared me that if I sat by the edge my leg would get ripped off.
