Well, it seems this is needed, I say we have people make suggestions and then a poll can be made with the best options for everyone to vote on.

Remember that the logo cannot be specific to any park; just try and pick something that embodies the amusement/theme park industry as a whole.

Here are my submissions for the network and the park specific ones. Simple. I decided to stack the words Park/BGW/KD and Fans. I originally wanted to have an arch way going over the words with supports to indicate a drop from a coaster, unfortunately I am terrible with technology and free form drawing :p Also, each theme has it's own color. BGW has red to match the previous AB red that the logo used to have for so long. ParkFans has blue just because, and KD has green because I wasn't sure what color would go with KD :/

Anyway, hope you guys like them!

I think blue would be more fitting for KD simply because of the current color scheme on the forums. ParkFans could be black, green, purple, or whatever. I like the concept overall, but I think it needs to look a bit more professional...

I think we're pretty happy with the current park-specific logos. What we're looking for is ideas for a ParkFans icon of sorts. BGWFans has Big Ben, KDFans has the Eiffel Tower, but ParkFans is picture-less. We want to keep clean, simple, black text for each site but have a picture of some kind that can be associated with each. I think we've done well with the two park sites, but we have nothing for ParkFans. Also, we're not really looking for art, we're more in search of ideas right now. Thanks for the attempt though!

NOTE: I changed the title of the thread to better reflect what we're actually in search of.

Alrighty then- I gave it a go. Reasons behind this first concept.. generic coaster- Loch Ness Colors for letters- blue background for water rides...

I tried. Hopefully you all like it.

If you don't that is OK. I used photoshop- so I can change stuff around.

Actually, when I see logo, I think of brand name and possible icon. But what your getting at is you need a icon for the logo. I honestly think a generic coaster will have to do or a generic coaster car?

Feel free to use my stuff, even though you don't want it, use it if the desire ever arises, no charge.
 
We can't be so cliche... we need something modern and unique; something that fits with the look of the site. An abstract interpretation of theme/amusement parks that I'm sure none of you are capable of producing.
 
Sorry Zach, I didn't read your last post until after I finished the work and posted it online. I'm rubbish with what you are asking though.

You could have the words "Park Fans" blurring by on a simple outline of a launch coaster track.

Eh~ that is all I've got. Until then..

I've done one too many logo- tee shirt design in my time where no one gives me any direction and I have to change it 100 times before the group decides a definite yes on anything. I shall just sit back and wait.
 
I thought about that pandora. It is one of those things I could do- but then it would take a while to edit it to look right. I also thought about a drop tower perched on the "k" in park.
