As of right now there most recent fbbbnpost has them open 5-11 tonight. Not saying you are wrong but I would have thought they would have updated already if they have made the call.Due to the impending inclement weather, I've been informed the park will be closed tonight.
Well....maybe some of us get the call before others. ??As of right now there most recent fbbbnpost has them open 5-11 tonight. Not saying you are wrong but I would have thought they would have updated already if they have made the call.
In 99 I was working at Chariot.
Hands down, the best ride-op crew that park has ever had in its entire history!!!
I agree. I heard the Clydesdales put on life jackets.I think BGW made the right call.
Are you, by chance, biased?

Just giving credit where it’s due.
AC’s opening year crew was the friendliest and most enthusiastic group to work a ride in the park. Each ride-op that worked the controls was great on the mic everytime they sent a train off and when it returned. One of them (I think his name was Cliff) got a full train of inner city kids on a school trip to sing “I Believe I Can Fly” before he dispatched the train.
They were also very efficient. On a busy summer day with a more than full queue spilling out into the pathway past Roman Freeze the wait time was never longer than 45 minutes.
The Y2K crew on AC was pretty good as many of them came back to work the ride but nothing touches that opening year crew!
That’s probably why Oktoberfest wasn’t open yesterday..Must be nice to have that equipment on hand. they just grabbed that thing at moved it away!
It eventually opened. The park cleared everything while openning and throughout the day everything opened as normalThat’s probably why Oktoberfest wasn’t open yesterday..
