Ok so I was at Busch Gardens the other over by the France bathrooms and I saw a very scared young cat running near the Royal Palace theater and I was wondering if anyone had seen a stray cat at the park the cat was grey with black stripes and would hide if anyone would go near it when I tried to calm her down she seemed scared and started meowing at me if anyone has seen a cat in France it's probably her

There are several big colonies of cats at BGW you don't tend to see them often during guests operation but they are there and can be seen walking the park during quieter times. I also have heard stories from employees of people sadly dumping cats at the park assuming that they would be taken care of. In Said cases cats have been caught when possible and turned into the local shelter and in a few cases when Pet Shenanigans was there actually ended up being taken in be the show.

Sounds like something BGW could capitalize on with their animal awareness campaign. Nighttime cameras, education, unusual ecosystems, working cats (barn cats) etc.

Also, screw those people who abandon pets like that.

I also would enjoy watching camera footage of randos trying to stuff a feral cat into a backpack, claws and all.

To be perfectly clear, not because of the trauma the poor car has to endure (give that cat extra scritches and some treats), but the sharp life lesson the backpack-wielding moron receives.

/s..... kinda

To the best of my knowledge the ones that did it at KD got away injury free though I am only aware of the ones that announced it publicly on FB and those cats had become fairly socialized. But the argument that publicizing it lead to more interaction with feral and potentially harmful animals is a valid one. especially in a location like BGW where guests may come into contact with actual park animals there are certainly things that guests could potentially transfer from a feral cat to the clysdales or collies. I am less sure it would be an issue with the cows but. Not saying those odds are good but they are not zero either.
