One Ocean and Dine With Shamu will be closed early 2014

Hi I'm new to the forums. I was at the park the other day and a trainer mentioned that Shamu Stadium would be closed early January all the way through mid April for maintenance. I don't know what the case is with the Texas and California parks, but in Orlando there will be a show in the DWS pool area called "Shamu Up Close"
Does anyone have more information?

No. They rarely do this type of extensive maintenance on Shamu Stadium on an annual basis.

The closure I have been told while in Florida last week (not from frontlines) is not Blackfish sparked but some items needed for guests and improvements.

I have heard of a new safety feature being designed and computer sims being ran on it but cannot say anything past that at this point.

The show was pretty meh when I saw it last year. I hope the park uses this rehab to improve the show as well.

From my understanding show improvements are nigh.

I think they need to make improvements to the screen. In some parts of the theater, the image looks very distorted.

I noticed that in January. A lot of the images looked pixelated.
