I was at the Chrysler Museum about a month ago to see that completely fantastic duck installation, and I came across this  photograph of the roller coaster at Ocean View Amusement being blown up for the movie, Rollercoaster.  I thought it was kind of interesting, so I am posting the picture I took.  I apologize for the quality.

My Mother remembers Ocean View amusement park very vividly. She said it was sort of a dump, but was a fun place to visit. She grew up in VB, and her family lived near ocean view. She doesn't remember when it was taken out. But today it's basically a parking lot for the beach.

The park was a dump but it was a fun place to hang out. My dad use to take me there all the time. As run down as all the rides looked they always seemed to work. BGW and KD pretty much killed their business.
