Returning after a two-year hiatus and replacing "Dominion at Dusk" as the park's nighttime summer event is Nights of Fire. Nights of Fire appears to be a downgraded "Dominion at Dusk," keeping the fireworks and Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular but axing the nighttime show.
Considering the low quality of the nighttime shows, and its equally low viewership, I don't see the lack of a show as a major loss. More concerning, however, is that fireworks are scheduled to go off on weekends. With Star Spangled Nights doing the same, this leaves the skies over Virginia's theme parks dark the other four days of the week. Oh well. Fireworks aren't cheap, eh?
